I'm looking into getting one of these.
Any of you guys using one? Do you like it?

A few of my friends have it. I have heard good things about it. Initially it was difficult for them to play with it, but after getting comfortable with it, they can't play without it.

Just like to add, they use it for MMOs. Not sure how it fairs on FPS's.

i used one in darkfall for about a week. If the game requires alot of macro management they can great. I have a keyboard tray on my desk and the pad had to sit above it, turn into a bitch to switch to type. Wasn't my cup of tea and i returned it.

I tried one a while ago, but I don't run the standard WSAD key mapping, so it was terrible for me.

Just read your blog post Xyzed but couldn't comment on it.
I use the number keys above qwerty for weapon switching, this doesn't have any keys there.
Do you have the same problem? If so, what do you use now?

I use my mouse for weapon changing.

o_O eww

:P I find the mouse wheel unreliable/inaccurate when scrolling through multiple weapons.

Tried it out, but I liked the Logitech G13 better. I found they didn't have enough keys (for mmo), and didn't add anything to my gaming prefering a fully keyboard much more.
