Engineers have always tried to come up with better controllers and input devices for video games, but many PC gamers still use their keyboards. Gaming gloves have always seemed like a good idea in theory, but in practice they could never compete. But now there's the Peregrine glove, which uses simple conductive strips to replace numerous hotkey commands with simple hand gestures.

No one has come up with a good replacement for WASD yet but this is a step in the right direction.

Hmm, he's using the mouse to control the screen movement and character movement at the same time. It looks awkward. You would have to be the same in WoW, like they showed, and you would have to use "click to move" our double mouse press to move, which would severely hinder your performance.

I would like to see this thing in action while playing an FPS, like BF:BC2. Somehow I don't think it would work well.

i dont see many games being able to take full advantage of this besides RTS, in most games u need to move with wasd and from what i got from the video u would need to hold a hand gesture full time in order to go forward and you would have to stop moving in order to input another command. rts seems like it could work a bit but i dont know.
